ADC CALLS EMERGENCY MEETING AT TENING
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Rhosietho Nguori has called for an emergency meeting at Tening Town Hall on 20th May, 2020 at 2:00pm.
The Tening Sub Divisional Task Force, all Committee Convenors along with head of offices will chalk out the action plan in the meeting.

EXISTING LOCKDOWN GUIDELINES TO CONTINUE
The Chief Secretary Nagaland, Temjen Toy, IAS has ordered that all the existing guidelines with regard to the lockdown in all parts of the State issued vide Order of even number dated 04.05.2020, will continue to remain operative till the issuance of fresh guidelines.

BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 17TH MAY 2020 FOR NAGALAND BY THE PRINCIPAL SECRETARY, HOME

“As at 4 P.M. today, a total of 952 samples have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 914 samples have been received and all have been tested as negative. The results for the remaining 38 samples are awaited. Today, a total of 3004 persons have been screened and a total of 1406 persons are under Facility Quarantine
DAILY SITUATION REPORT IN THE STATE
The State Home Department issued the daily report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services in the State for the 17th of May 2020. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru while issuing the report informed that 2 (Two) violations of the lockdown were reported and 6 (Six) persons were bound down. However, no Law and Order incident has been reported in any part of the State.
