Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K, IAS issued an order in pursuance to the decision taken at the meeting held on 12th May 2020 in the Secretariat Conference Hall with regard to the SOP for returnees and as decided in the meeting of the Empowered Committee for Mon District.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang Kumar Ramnikant has notified to all concerned that in the interest of public safety and health, and as decided in the meeting of the District Task Force on COVID - 19 the following shop timing relaxations are notified as below:

On 14th May 2020, the final day of the transportation exercise, the Kohima District Administration dispatched 12 buses to Mon carrying 279 passengers and 9 empty buses to Dimapur as requested by the Dimapur District Administration.

As at 4 P.M. today, a total of 889 samples have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 872 samples have been received and all have been tested as negative. The results for the remaining 17 samples are awaited. In addition a total of 11 samples have been tested by Truenat and all are negative.
