In light of COVID-19 global pandemic and the recent inflow of stranded people from other affected parts of the country into the District and in the interest of the public health, public safety and public order in Mon District Thavaseelan K, IAS has prohibited,

APC Nagaland who is also incharge of Dimapur district for COVID-19 activities, Y.Kikheto Sema informed that the special train from Chennai was expected to reach Dimapur on 22nd May 2020.

Speaking to DPRO Dimapur, Sema informed that the special with 1464 stranded people would depart Chennai on 19th May evening.

Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued the following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for receiving the Stranded persons/returnees from outside the States:

Deputy Commissioner Kiphire Sarita Yadav IAS has informed all the parents and guardians of the returnees from outside the state coming to Kiphire district to arranged the following items to be used at the quarantine ward by their children/ relatives during the quarantine period such as blankets, pillow, bucket, bed sheet, plate, steel cup and spoon, mosquito net, mug and umbrella.
