REPORT ON LAW & ORDER IN NAGALAND

According to the statement on Law & Order in the State with regard to the COVID-19 lockdown as on 19th May, 9(nine) persons violated the lock down and 9(nine) persons were bound down. Further, fines have been imposed on 273(two hundred and seventy three) number of odd number vehicles under various sections of the MV Act and Rs. 48,650/- was collected on that connection.

14 RETURNEES QUARANTINE AT LONGLENG

Longleng District Covid-19 Task force along with district administration, police, village guards, NGOs and civil societies have warmly welcomed and receive the first arrival of 14 stranded person from different states of the country to Longleng Town on 19th May 2020 at around 12:15 Am.

DC PHEK NOTIFIES

Deputy Commissioner Phek, Sachin Jaiswal IAShas ordered that all domestic animals like dogs, hens etc be kept chained at all times with immediate effect until further notice to reduce the risk of transmission of infection through the domestic animals visiting the garbage disposal areas at the quarantine centres.

DC DIMAPUR ON SHOP TIMING

DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed all concerned that all retail shops in Dimapur District will be permitted to be open from 9am to 4 pm with effect from 20th May 2020. However, all shops in New Market, Hongkong Market, Hazi Park, Millenium Market, Railway Bazaar and vegetable market in Purana Bazaar and all Weekly Bazaar shall remain closed.
