DC LONGLENG INFORMS DOG OWNERS
Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has informed all dog owners of Longleng town that Facility Institutional Quarantine have been setup in and around the Longleng town to accommodate stranded persons coming from different parts of the country to the district. Now the dogs straying in and around these quarantine centres in search of food is a threat to the health and safety of the public.
DC KIPHIRE INFORMS ON SHOP TIMING
Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Sarita Yadav IAS has informed to all the general public of Kiphire district that all shops and daily market will open everyday i.e. Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 2:00 pm with immediate effect till further order. Meanwhile, salons, hotels, restaurants and eateries shall continue to remain closed as usual.
DC MON HOLDS MEETING
Mon District COVID- 19 Task Force and the Empowered Group committee held a meeting on 20th May 2020 at DC's Conference Hall Mon under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS. Decision was taken to quarantine the Standard Returnees for fourteen (14) days at District Quarantine Center and thereafter home Quarantine for fourteen (14) days respectively.
STRANDED INDIVIDUALS CONTINUE TO RETURN TUENSANG
As of 21st May 2020 a total number of stranded individuals have reached 59 and are stationed at the designated quarantine centres namely 48 at Sao Chang Government College and 11 at JNV Chare. So far the returnees are 42 from Assam, 12 from Meghalaya, 1 each from UP and West Bengal and 3 from Arunachal Pradesh.
