THREE COVID-19 CASES DETECTED IN NAGALAND

Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Menukhol John announced that Nagaland is no longer in the green zone with the detection of three positive COVID-19 cases in the State. He stated this while addressing the media on 25th May 2020 at the Nagaland Secretariat Conference hall, Kohima.

HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE DEPT APPEALS

Nagaland has reported 3 COVID-19 Positive cases as of 11:00 am on 25th May 2020. A press release issued by the Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Menukhol John stated that the conditions of the 3 (three) individuals are stable and are being monitored/treated in the COVID-19 hospitals.

NLA EXPRESSES GRATITUDE

Secretary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Dr. P.J. Antony has informed that in preparation for the series of various Assembly Committee Meetings scheduled from 27th May, 2020, the NDRF has sanitized the entire Nagaland Legislative Assembly premises on 25th May, 2020. This precautionary exercise will continue as and when any important function in the Assembly Secretariat is organized.

DC TUENSANG ISSUES DIRECTIVESTO PET OWNERS

Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued an order dated 23rd May 2020 to all concerned that some Village Authorities/ Ward Authorities/ Individuals/Groups have issued 'shoot at sight' order for dogs which is a punishable offence under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
