The report on Law & Order situation in Nagaland as on 4th June 2020 stated that there was no violation of the lock down and added that no incident of law & order was reported in the State. The statement was issued by HiazuMeru, Joint Secretary, Home Department, Government of Nagaland in the daily report on COVID-19.

The full text is as follows :

“Today 22 more returnees have been tested positive for COVID -19. Total active cases in the State now stand at 80 as of today.   All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. Further, active surveillance is going on to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Dy. Chief Minister, Minister for Home & R&B, Y. Patton thanked the public for giving full co-operation while fighting to contain Corona Virus pandemic during his second visit to Community Health Centre Bhandari to ascertain the preparedness level on 3rd June 2020.

District Task Force Peren along with Joint Action Committee (JAC) on COVID-19 held an emergency meeting at Customary Court, ADC office Jalukie on 4th June, 2020 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peren. During the course of meeting the house deliberated the following agenda.
