FOREST OFFICERS/STAFF EXEMPTED
All concerned have been hereby informed that forest officers and staffs are exempted from the purview of COVID-19 lockdown measures inorder to carry their various essential duties and activities. The staff/ workers of forest department are required to operate and maintain zoo, nurseries, wildlife, fire-fighting in forest, watering plantations, patrolling and their necessary transport movements in and around the Kiphire district.

As per the directives of the State Government to facilitate the inter district movement of stranded persons because of the enforced lockdown in the Country owing to the Covid 19 pandemic the Kohima District administration has started the massive exercise of systematically sending off stranded students and daily wage earners who are stranded in Kohima to their respective districts on 7th May 2020.
