Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari, Tiameren Chang, NCS, today issued an order dated the 13th April 2020, stating that wearing masks has been made mandatory for the public of Bhandari sub division.

Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued Advisory to all concerned under Tuensang District jurisdiction to strictly follow the advisories given below to maintain safe environment at the work place. :

The full text of the statement on COVID-19 as given by the Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha IAS is as follows :

“As at 5:00 pm today, a total of 74 samples of suspected cases have been sent for testing from the State. The results of 70 samples have been received and they are all negative. The results of the remaining 4 samples are awaited.

Although the State Government has directed the Nagaland Civil Secretariat and the Directorates in Kohima and Dimapur and all government offices in the districts shall resume their functioning with skeletal staff from Monday, 13th April, 2020, it is clarified that all schools, colleges, universities, all type of educational institutions, coaching, tuition classes etc.
