Taking a breather from Pandemic Covid-19 Lock down for 40 days, forty four stranded/stressed persons from Kiphire have been transported to Kohima and Dimapur on 7thMay 2020, in accordance with the Government notification issued for transition of people within the state.

In pursuant to the provision under the National Food Security Act 2013, Assistant Director of Supply, Dimapur, reminded all Fair Price Shops and Village Councils FPSs to strictly issue the foodgrains to the beneficiaries as prescribed rate and quantity.

In pursuance to the order received from the Office of the Chief Secretary Nagaland, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued an order to all concerned that local Taxis are permitted to ply within Tuensang district with the condition that they carry not more than two passengers. Both the driver and passengers should wear masks.

In coordination with the District administration Dimapur, Christian Forum Dimapur has been encouraging the Naga boys and girls who has been on quarantine at Youth Hostel Dimapur since March 24th 2020. The Forum, for the 2nd consecutive day starting yesterday has been having fellowship with the youth, singing and praying with them and also spreading the message of love and peace.
