Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at Seikhazou Colony Kohima, the area defined below is demarcated as Sealed Area in order to contain the spread of disease/infection and to expedite necessary contact tracing of the infected person.

With the detection of Covid-19 Positive person at Daklane Colony Kohima, Municipal Ward No. 7, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner had declared/demarcated it as a containment zone on 7th July 2020, whereby various restrictions were imposed to contain the spread of disease/infection and the zone/area was kept under strict and active Medical surveillance and movement within the zone was restricted/prohibited to the public.

In consideration of the internet connectivity issues and the inability of Primary Section students, particularly from the remote areas to access the Online Education, Principal Director School Education Shanavas C, IAS has issued the following directives to Head of Institutions of all Govt. Schools functioning in the State of Nagaland for ensuring effective implementation of Continuous Learning at all levels of schooling.

As decided in the Tuensang District Task Force (DTF) on COVID -19 meeting held on 8th July 2020 and in the interest of public health and safety, a campaign to spread awareness on safe practices under Tuensang district in view of COVID - 19 pandemic, in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has hereby notified as per the dates mentioned below :

Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has informed all the esteemed members that the monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of July will be held on 23rd July, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at DC's Conference Hall, District Headquarter Peren under the chairmanship of Advisor Water Resources, Namri Nchang.

He further requested all the board members to attend the meeting positively.
