AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AT TSEMINYU

Awareness campaign on covid 19 & solid waste management was launched at Tseminyu town on 2nd October, 2020. w. Manpai phom, ADC Tseminyu in his key note address stressed on the need to have a proper mindset at home regarding waste management. He also launched awareness campaign on covid-19 Solid waste management. Pollem Tep, President Rengma Hoho, Dr. Avile zao S.M.O Tseminyu and Ashale Seb IEC consultant PHED Kohima Rural spoke on the occasion.

CEO INFORMS ON STATE LEVEL MCMC MEETING

A meeting of the State Level Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) for the forthcoming bye - election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from 14-Southem Angami -I (ST) and 60-Pungro Kiphire (ST) Assembly Constituencies is convened on 5th October 2020 at 2:00 P M in the office of the undersigned.

NSDMA ISSUES WEATHER UPDATES

The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department, in coordination with the Regional Metrological Centre, Guwahati issues weather updates for the coming days. Heavy to moderate rainfall activity is expected in the State over the following week.

EXISTING LOCKDOWN GUIDELINES TO CONTINUE IN THE STATE

The existing guidelines with regard to the Lockdown/ Unlock in all parts of the State issued vide Order of even number dated 31.08.2020, shall continue to remain operative in Nagaland till further Orders. This was stated in an official order by the Office of the Chief Secretary, Nagaland.
