DC ISSUES ADVISORY ON SOCIAL DISTANCING

Dimapur Anoop Khinchi  in an official letter addressed to ADS, Food & Civil Supplies, Dimapur, informed the re-opening of Fair Price Shops in Dimapur with effect from 6 April 2020 from 7am to 4pm. DC further requested the ADS to direct the FPS to maintain social distancing of atleast one metre at all times.

APPEAL TO VOLUNTARILY SWITCH OFF LIGHTS

The Ministry of Power/Vidyut Mantralaya has requested to voluntarily switch off their lights at 9.00 PM on the 5th April 2020. The National Load Despatch Centre has worked out the procedures for grid balancing during the period which will be communicating to the Regional and State Load Despatch Centres separately.

ADVISORY ON TELECOM INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE

Department of Information Technology and Communication on 4th April 2020 has issued an advisory to all Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) to co-ordinate with the District Administration/Police and local authorities at the District and village levels before visiting telecom sites for maintenance and monitoring activities so as to avoid any unpleasant/untoward incident.

WOMEN ACCOUNT HOLDERS UNDER PMJDY TO GET EX-GRATIA PAYMENT

Department of Urban Development Nagaland has issued a circular on 4th April 2020 with regard to the decision taken by the Government of India to provide a onetime ex-gratia payment of Rs.500/- per month for the next three months (starting from 1st April) to all women Pradhan Mantri Jan DhanYojana (PMJDY) account holders through the Pradhan MantriGaribKalyanYojana(PMGKY) Package.

DC KOHIMA INFORMS

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has informed that in partial modification of the previous order of the office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, all grocery shops and bakeries within Kohima Municipal Area are directed to open to general public from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon only. Further the general public are also directed to visit only the nearest grocery shops and bakeries within their respective wards/colonies so as to insure public safety.
